Design – Honda X-Blade follows a similar design as is seen on the Honda CB Hornet 160R. It boasts of a sporty design that will instantly appeal to a younger segment of buyers in the country. It gets a tall fly screen, LED head and tail lamps, an underbody cowl and twin exhaust muffler. The X-Blade also receives sharp grab rails, a rear tire hugger and matte black side panels all of which combine to enhance its sporty look.
Features and Dimensions – Honda X-Blade gets a fully digital console with gear position indicator, service indicator and hazard lights beside a white backlight. It sits on narrow tires and braking is via disc brake in the front and drum brake at the rear. It gets telescopic front forks and monoshock suspension at the rear.
Honda X-Blade measures 2,013mm in length, 786mm in width and 1,115mm in height. It has the curb weight of 140 kgs and wheelbase of 1,347mm with a ground clearance of 160mm. The X-Blade gets 100/80 R17 front and 140/70 R17 rear tires and features also include a digital clock, a long seat, seal chain and hazard switch. It receives a 12-liter fuel tank while curb weight stands at 140 kgs.
Engine Specifications – Honda X-Blade is powered by a 162.71cc, HET engine offering 13.93 bhp peak power at 8,500 rpm and 13.9 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm mated to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine is designed for low and mid-range performance.
Color options – The X-Blade gets innovative color options of Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Matte Frozen Silver Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Igneous Black, and Matte Marshal Green Metallic. These colors add to the sporty appeal of the bike and find favor with young biking aficionados in the country.
Competition – The XBlade competes with Yamaha FZ-S, Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Suzuki Gixxer in its segment.
