Anonymous JLFB - 2018 Triumph Tiger 800 XCx, XRx and XR launched – Price ?

2018 Triumph Tiger 800 XCx, XRx and XR line-up was launched in India today in its new-gen avatar. Featuring more than 200 upgrades, including those to the chassis and engine, as well as updates to off-road capability on all terrains, the new Tiger is better than ever before.

The more responsive, optimized Triple engine has a shorter 1st Gear for improved off-road traction, low-speed maneuverability, and acceleration. A lighter, free-flowing silencer improves exhaust note. ‘Off Road Pro’ riding mode offers up to six riding modes. Optimising off-road performance, advanced riders can opt to turn systems off for total control



Adjustable full color 5″ adjustable TFT instruments and signature LED lighting is a mainstay. The intuitive colored, clear instrumentation ensures rider information on the go. The backlit switchgear (illuminated handlebar mounted switch cube buttons) is a nighttime use convenience. and five-way joystick control, accompany cruise control update. The latter is accessible through the bike’s left-hand switch cube. A single button cruise control helps reduce rider fatigue.


Newly designed handlebar switch cubes and joystick are intuitive and easy to operate. Triple engine updates make it more responsive. Riders can opt for an A2 Licence. Style elements, finish and detailing are tweaked. This includes premium bodywork, badges and graphics, and the new color for an all-new dynamic appeal. Both XR and XC models are more purpose built than before.
LED lighting has a dual purpose as it improves visibility through clear views in front and behind, and enhanced style, and stance. Reliable Brembo front brakes enhance braking capability across terrains. The five-way adjustable windscreen and aero diffusers are easy to adjust when riding by a simple single hand gesture for wind protection and optimized rider aero comfort.

New Triumph Tiger 800 rivals BMW F750 GS and the F850 GS which were launched earlier this year in India, which is priced from Rs 12.2 lakh and Rs 13.7 lakh, respectively.
